How to reach millions in turnover in 3 months: a real case study
This case study is about the journey from a raw online store to a full-fledged sales channel that consistently brought in dozens of orders every day and generated over 7 million hryvnia in turnover per quarter. This is the result of teamwork, close communication, and deep immersion in the project by the entire team.
We will show why we decided not to launch contextual advertising right away, how we “pulled” the site out of a state of almost zero visibility on Google, and why the decision to update the store’s engine was a turning point.
Start: what the client asked for
The client came to us with a request to set up contextual advertising for an iPhone online store. At that time, the website was technically oriented towards price aggregators, with minimal content and very poor usability. We were honest: launching advertising in this form would be a waste of time. The user’s transition from the ad to placing an order should be easy, understandable, and involve as few steps as possible.

The drawbacks we immediately identified while preparing to launch Google ads for the online store were:
- Empty pages with no product descriptions;
- A complicated, confusing shopping cart;
- The “Buy” button is below the first screen;
- A stretched design that distracts users;
- No description of the company’s advantages.
Added to this were SEO problems — lack of technical optimization, almost zero traffic, and gross errors on the website pages.
In e-commerce, every button, icon, and field in the shopping cart plays an important role — that’s why we started with analysis and a thorough audit. Because this will affect the results. Good preparation for launch allows you to use your budget effectively when running ads.
Initial work
We didn’t start working at random. We offered the client a full audit, although a usability analysis would have been sufficient to launch the context. Also, right away:
- We connected Google Analytics;
- We conducted a technical analysis and corrected critical errors;
- We provided recommendations on structure, UX, and content;
- We rewrote the key landing pages.
At this stage, the client already saw an increase in efficiency even without launching advertising. Even such cosmetic actions are enough to get the first results in terms of visibility and traffic from organic search. But it is not enough to maintain this progress and build on the results. That is why we moved on to the active phase of promoting the project.
Active phase of promoting the online store
The next steps were aimed at forming a comprehensive SEO strategy and launching Google Ads.
We conducted:
- Demand analysis and development of a new site structure.
- Building a semantic core and technical specifications for copywriters.
- Writing and publishing SEO texts on priority categories.
- Launching advertising campaigns on Google.
- Building a link profile (crowd marketing, permanent links).
The first results of promotion with our team were very quick: the site began to recoup its investment, grow in position, and attract new customers every day. Most orders came in by phone — over 70%, the rest — through the shopping cart.
From February 12 to May 26 (less than a quarter) alone, the shopping cart turnover amounted to UAH 2,332,152, which was less than 30% of the total turnover, since all other orders were placed by phone.

Moving to a new level
When it became clear that the current platform could not keep up with the pace of growth, we offered a complete website overhaul:
- consulting and assistance in choosing a new template;
- website migration with preservation of SEO results;
- re-audit and implementation of changes;
- transition to HTTPS.
When replacing a website’s platform or technologies, it is very important to have the support of an SEO team in order to preserve the results and resources already invested in promotion. After a slight fluctuation in traffic (which is normal during migration), the website began to grow rapidly.
Results
Let’s summarize the results obtained – impressive growth in the website’s profits and traffic:
- 7,000,000 UAH in turnover per quarter (all channels, including calls).
- Stable growth in SEO traffic, website visibility, and conversion rate.
- Complete transformation of the online store — from an inconvenient resource to an effective sales channel.
- The website has become one of the market leaders in its segment.

What the client says
“We were looking for a company to help us achieve our ambitious goal — to increase sales to astronomical heights! The prices and pretentiousness of many agencies scared us away. We came to AG.Marketing on the recommendation of a friend. At first, we only ordered contextual advertising, but the next month we handed over everything. I’m glad I made the right choice.”
